WA Health Minister reaffirms support for anti-protest ‘safe access’ laws.

Western Australia’s Health Minister Roger Cook has reaffirmed his willingness to consider introducing ‘safe access’ laws which would restrict protests near abortion clinics.

Last week Perth’s 40 Days of Life group, which holds vigils outside a Midland Abortion clinic, was featured in an article in The Age. Meanwhile a pro-life group in the ACT has become the subject of complaints after it ran an information booth at a multicultural festival.
