On 18 June 2018, the Synod of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia will convene in the Southern River church building.
18 February was the closing date for the material for the provisional agenda. After this date, no new items can be placed on the agenda. Churches can still interact with the material that is already on the agenda, up until three weeks before the commencement of synod (that is up until 27 May).
The provisional agenda was sent by the convening church of Bunbury to the churches in the federation. There are proposals from the churches / classes and a number of reports from deputies.
Rev. Wes Bredenhof gives a preview of what is on the agenda. This preview is not complete, it only deals with the ‘more interesting items on the agenda’: Ecumenical Relations, Theological Training and the Book of Praise. For those interested, check it out at yinkahdinay.
